- Distribution Handler™ manages all distribution and warehouse management functions, Distribution Handler™ integrates with PO+™ to manage the receipt of incoming EDI 856 advanced ship notices (ASNs). It allows the user to build a receiver by wanding the bar-coded inventory. For receipts not bar-coded, or in environments where consistent inventory labeling is a required strategy, the system provides bar-code label printing for all units received. A receipts reconciliation is conducted comparing the ASN to actual receipts, thus making the receiver eligible for invoice payment.
- Distribution Handler™ integrates with Customer Link™ to manage the shipping and distribution process. Customer Purchase Orders have inventory reserved based on store specific rules, thus creating Bill of Ladings per location. Customer rules determine if shipments are consilidated to a distribution center or shipped directly to a store location. The allocated sales orders are released into the shipping queue and ready for traffic routing decisions. An optimized pick plan is created, utilizing Radio Frequency smart picking. Barcode edits validate 100% accurate picking. UCC 128 shipper labels are printed and available for application. Once the BOL is picked complete and finalized, all transportation paperwork is generated including Bill of Lading, Pack List, Load List, Commercial Invoice, and the Advance Shipped Notice is generated and the EDI 856 is triggered.
